Breathing is a totally  essential function for supporting a balanced energy flow throughout the body and brain. This natural process not only sustains life but also has the power to awaken deep, innate life forces that may lie dormant due to unresolved anxiety and trauma. When these forces remain suppressed, they can contribute to patterns of avoidance and procrastination. By harnessing the power of breath, we can unlock these energies, fostering emotional resilience and restoring a sense of inner balance.

Engaging in small group training focused on integrative holistic techniques, particularly Conscious Connected Breathing (CCB), provides a safe environment for natural healing through deep relaxation and activation of the parasympathetic nervous system. CCB facilitates the resolution of trauma by allowing individuals to experience various aspects of their conscious and unconscious mind, including images, memories, and somatic sensations. This practice aims to harmonize personal goals with physical and mental states, guiding participants toward a developmental trajectory that uncovers a true path in life. Such integration fosters the fulfillment of higher-order meanings, expands consciousness, and enhances social connections, ultimately instilling a profound sense of life purpose.

My approach is based on on objective measurements of the Heart Rate Variability, which I found  to be the most sensitive and reliable  indicator of individual copying and adatpation. It reflects many aspects of brain-heart axis , interoception and higher order cognitive functions.

Conceptual Framework:

Rustam Yumash is a seasoned practitioner with over 35 years of experience in medicine, neuroscience, psychotherapy, and meditation. His unique approach combines advanced brain science with traditional contemplative practices to facilitate deep self-regulation and personal transformation.

Educational Background and Training

  • Medical Education: Holds a six-year bachelor's degree in medicine and a Diploma in Neurology.

  • Deep Integrative Psychotherapy: Completed a 10-day training course in Moscow (1992).

  • Infra-Low Frequency (ILF) Neurofeedback: Trained under Sue and Siegfried Othmer at EEGInfo, with over 15 years of clinical practice in ILF Neurofeedback.

  • Quantitative EEG (QEEG) & Event-Related Potentials (ERPs): Studied under Prof. Juri Kropotov at the Human Brain Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Saint Petersburg.
