Finding a meaningful signal through the noise in EEG
QEEG mentoring group
with Jay Gunkelman, QEEGD Emeritus
The goal of the group is to gain knowledge and improve skills in Quantitative EEG and Event-Related Potential application and analysis to harness a better understanding of the human brain, behavior, and cognitive processes, as well as to improve diagnosis and treatment of brain and mental disorders.
The field of QEEG and Event Related Potentials is taking off all around the world because more and more professionals are realizing that the traditional methods of helping people are limited and new methods of neuromodulation require a more precise information about the brain in all its uniqueness.
Our mentor Jay Gunkelman is a veteran of QEEG field. Despite his semi-retirement he has kindly agreed to mentor our group. We will focus on EEG analysis in clinical cases using WinEEG software, developed at the Human Brain Institute in St. Petersburg.
All members are welcome to contribute cases or topics for discussions. All meetings are recorded for later viewing by participants. The group will be kept to manageable minimal size of approximately 12-15 people maximum. So this is an exclusive event for the most dedicated practitioners wanting to advance their knowledge of EEG analysis.
The group is meeting twice a month since September 2021.
The registration is now open for
